Case Study -  Carpenters Edge Limited


Carpenters Edge is a supplier of Kitchen countertops, mdf /plywood boards and kitchen accessories.

They approached Blueline to develop a website to help their business sales.

Their main concern was to showcase their wide variety of laminate, solid surface and quartz counter-tops pattterns. The goal of the website was to be an online catalog for all their products.
They opted to not show prices for ease of management

Before they had a website, Carpenters' Edge sales staff would visit architects and home owners to show them samples of their countertop colours. Home owners would also call to ask for certain colours. Only driving to visit their store would the customers be able to view what they needed. This proved to be a waste of time and staff resources.

Now with carpenters edge  online, home owners, architects and interior designers can view all colour samples saving time and money.

With a properly coded website done by Blueline the following was achieved:

  • Carpenters edge is No 1 in google/yahoo search for "Laminate countertops in Trinidad and Tobago".
  • Number 1 in searches in google and Yahoo for "MDF boards in Trinidad and Tobago"-
  • As at  (November   2014) carpenters edge website has about 1,500 visits per month.

This website has been an incredible sales tool for Carpenters Edge resulting in increased sales volumes.
